ie is a long-established, multi-disciplinary marketing and design agency located on Berkeley Square, just off Park Street in Bristol. We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager or Account Director to join our growing team of 6 people for a 9 to 12-month maternity cover contract.

ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager or Account Director to lead a client portfolio across a variety of sectors.

You will be the day-to-day account management contact (with full support whenever needed) on a portfolio of clients, with the aim of managing and sustainably growing these accounts and building strong client relationships.

You’ll manage client relations and report on project development to ensure the timely implementation and delivery of all required communications while monitoring the results.

You will be responsible for planning and implementing marketing campaigns and overseeing projects from start to finish, as well as working with members of our internal design and development team and liaising with suppliers. The role offers plenty of variety, and scope for developing a broad range of skills.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Our ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of marketing, including social media and digital, and will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience – either agency or client-side.

Ideally you’ll have the following skills and experience:

• Excellent communicator, friendly, organised and efficient with the ability to create strong client relationships.
• Commercial awareness including managing client budgets and the ability to sustainably grow a portfolio of client accounts.
• Excellent project management skills including managing project budgets.
• Good copywriting and proofreading skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Experienced in implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns and events.
• Ability to analyse and interpret statistics.
• Knowledge of SEO and PPC.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate as part of a team.
• Self motivated and happy working as part of a small and growing team.

Job description

Creative Copywriter required to join our busy marketing agency. From initial brief to final delivery, you will be responsible for developing insightful messaging, and clear and engaging content for a wide range of marketing collateral.

About the role

Working alongside other team members you be responsible for:

• Developing clear, insightful messaging, and original, engaging content for promotional campaigns, websites, emails, social media, SEO, PR and more.
• Capable of writing on-brand content that reflects tone of voice and resonates with agreed audiences.
• Experience in writing for both B2B and B2C sales and advertising campaigns.

Skills required

Minimum of 5 years’ creative copywriting experience, either agency or client-side or other.

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy
• Ability to work across a diverse range of media
• A solid understanding of content management systems such as WordPress, Kentico, Campaign Monitor, Hootsuite, etc
• Excellent communicator, friendly, proactive, and efficient
• Positive attitude, willingness to collaborate and a good sense of humour appreciated
• Self-motivated and happy working as part of a small and growing team
